Abstract
This file is a zipped version of OPT 1100 Tooling and Machining Metrology delivered in a learning management system. This course covers various shop measurement techniques, use and care of basic inspection instruments, interpretation of blueprints, and an introduction to Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
This is a 2 credit hour course, delivered in a hybrid of online lecture and in-person labs. The course was designed for CBE (Competency Based Education) delivery where units can be bypassed if a student exhibits competency on unit pre-tests.
