Abstract

Both the official course outline and course syllabus includes relative content related to the Occupational, Health and Safety Act (OSHA) –to provide a comprehensive instruction and training regarding OSHA laws, regulations, standards and associated policies, and procedures for blood borne pathogens, accident investigation, confined spaces, record keeping and related topics of health hazards such as chemicals, asbestos, lead and silica. Course content includes training content, materials and related OSHA standards, and current information to assure knowledge and competency in these related OSHA standards as reflected training modules are embedded. This course is designed to meet training requirements as set forth under OSHA standards includes 29 CFR Part 1904, 29 CFR Parts 1910.146 and 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA, 29 CFR Part 1910.1030 so as to provide OSHA certificate of training to students who completed the course and satisfactorily demonstrate core competencies associated with the standard. This two (2) credit hour lecture course offered one (1) day for five (5) consecutive weeks to cover each OSHA topic in accordance with those training requirements that includes duration, topics and attendance. This course is a 1 credit hour Module 1 of 3 modules and each module can be completed by the student at his or her own pace. • This file contains resources for WELD101 Introduction to Welding including syllabus, PowerPoint lectures, exams, and quizzes. This course is a 3 credit hour course intended to be completed in 8 weeks.
