Abstract
This file is a zipped version of CAM 1142 Shop Floor Calculations II delivered in a learning management system. The course is a first-year introduction to applying the principles of geometry and trigonometry and the computing of compound angles to situations encountered in the machining industry.
This is a 2 credit hour course, delivered primarily through online lecture and online exercises and assessments. The course was designed for CBE (Competency Based Education) delivery where units can be bypassed if a student exhibits competency on unit pre-tests. The course typically is delivered over a 16 week semester, but flex-paced delivery allows for acceleration and rolling starts.
