Abstract
This collection includes the agreed upon standards for the NRC’s common practices and policies to award credit for prior learning across seven colleges. The standards guarantee that colleges follow equivalent academic conventions to ensure the integrity of the PLA process. Additionally, the NRC created a PLA handbook authored by Dr. Nan L. Travers and produced by Achieving the Dream to introduce the importance of PLA, program practices, professional development, and evaluation on the topic.
