Abstract

This white paper provides an overview of the innovative instructional approach of Columbus State Community College’s Welding Program. The inventive pairing of the Power Wave® C300 and RealWeld® trainer is at the heart of these endeavors. By coupling existing technologies with master welder profiles and utilizing the combination in creative ways, the college has conceived a breakthrough strategy that has the potential to accelerate skill development, transform welder training, and close the gap between skilled welder demand and supply.
