Abstract

Using the DACUM process, knowledge, skills and abilities are identified by employer panels and converted into a high quality curriculum. DACUM is an acronym for Developing a Curriculum. It is a storyboard process that provides a picture of what the worker does in the field. In this case the DACUM process was used to modify, validate and improve RVCC's Phlebotomy Program.
