Abstract
This course is a study of management theories, emphasizing the management functions of planning, decision making, organizing, leading, and controlling.
Module Topics: Managerial Functions, Managerial Evolution, External Influences on Organizations, Organizational Values, Managerial Function of Planning, Maintaining a Competitive Edge, Change Management, Management Across Cultures, Adapting to Change, Maximizing Team Performance, Human Resource Governance, Managing Organizational Diversity, Theoretical Models of Motivation, Being a Leader, Effective Communication, Data Management, and Operations Management.
Materials include interactive lessons, quizzes, a glossary, discussion questions, and a final exam. The lessons, quizzes, and final exam are in zipped files that can be imported to an LMS as SCORM Content or opened (If viewing without uploading to an LMS- unzip the file, and click story_html5.html).
