Abstract

This collection of high-fidelity simulations is aimed at preparing EMS students for a variety of patient care challenges. The cases include chest pain, pediatric trauma, and a complicated birth. The descriptions include patient information, technical requirements for putting on the simulation, and a scenario flowchart. A video supplements one of the simulations. An overview of a video set about debriefing simulations is also provided. The videos are available in the Program Support Materials Collection section. To preserve instructional security, scenarios are under embargo until June 2020. To receive the full scenarios, follow the embargo instructions and/or contact HWPS_SimLab@cnm.edu.
