Abstract

The student integrates cultural diversity and synthesizes the health and education required to practice a caring role as an advocate in the specialty areas of nursing. The nursing process presents an organizational plan that represents accountability of the student through documentation. The student identifies the challenges of the pediatric/ MCH / Geriatric patient with attention to developmental stages and the stress that infiltrates into the family and community. Common diseases and disorders are studied and the nutrition and pharmacological implications are incorporated into the learning process in relation to prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
