Abstract
This is the course outline for Capital Community College’s Advanced Mobile Apps I.
This course teaches students how to develop mobile apps for the Apple iOS and Android platforms. In this course, students will expand their knowledge of the Java and Objective-C programming languages. Students will learn the Apple iOS and Android user interface components and create sophisticated user interfaces. Students will learn how to store application and user data, send email and SMS messages, and integrate map and location services.
Students will also learn the process for publishing Android apps to the Android Market, and the process for publishing Apple iOS apps to the Apple Store.
This course requires significant lab time, installing and configuring SDK's. The course also requires significant lab time writing, debugging, and testing mobile applications.
