Abstract
This program gives motivated students who place into Introductory Writing an opportunity to complete two writing courses at the same time. Students take Introductory Writing and English Composition I together, with the same professor. Introductory Writing serves as a workshop that gives students extra individual attention and support to succeed in Composition I and their first semester of college.
