Paramedic Academy: Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in Fairbanks, AK; Peace Health, Ketchikan Medical Center in Ketchikan, AK; Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, AK; and Norton Sound Regional Hospital in Nome, AK provided support and space for Paramedic student clinical rotations. Affiliation agreements were set up with LifeMed (air ambulance) and Ketchikan Fire Department for students’ field experience with Paramedic providers. Dental Assisting: Maniilaq Health Services through rural Chukchi Campus in Kotzebue, AK, and Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation through Kuskokwim Campus in Bethel, AK have plans to use the courses and program to teach employees and potential employees. Nurse Aide: Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and Denali Center in Fairbanks, AK; Yukon Kuskokwim Elder Care in Bethel, AK, and Quyanna Care Center in Nome, AK provided support and clinicals for students in the Nurse Aide course. Medical Assisting: Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center in Fairbanks, AK collaborated with the distance Medical Assisting program developed under this Project to provide internships to employees serving Alaska Native communities throughout the Interior region of Alaska.
