Abstract
This course material consists of a hybrid Canvas course along with a course syllabus. This is a hands-on course designed to give experience with basic motor construction and principles of operation of single and poly phase motors. Also covered are variable speed drives and braking. The course covers AC and DC motors with an emphasis on maintenance and troubleshooting.
