Abstract
This industry-specific workforce program prepares individuals for entry-level positions as CMTs in local health-care facilities. The training satisfies the requirement of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP). This training program is held over an eight week period and combines five weeks of intensive classroom instruction with three weeks of clinical practice. The clinical instruction is conducted with an industry partner and held at one of their local hospital facilities.
