Abstract

"This learning object covers the Appendicular portion of the human skeleton. Topics included are 1) functions of the skeletal system, 2) differences between the axial skeleton and appendicular skeletons, 3) component parts of the appendicular skeleton, 4) the bones and markings of the pectoral and pelvic girdles and how they connect limbs to the axial system, and 5) the bones of the upper limbs and the major bony markings associated with each of the bones. The object includes teaching videos. This grant product was created by the Community College Consortium for Bioscience Credentials and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License."
