Abstract

In this course you will learn how to transcribed medical documents while applying the rules of proper grammar, punctuation, and style; and using correct spelling, logical sentence structure, and various reference styles and resources. You will identify and describe the components of the basic formats of histories and physicals, discharge summaries, consultations, operative reports, pathology reports, radiology reports, chart notes and various other reports. At the end of the course you will be able to transcribe histories and physicals, discharge summaries, consultations, operative reports, pathology reports, radiology reports, chart notes and various other reports as well as edit medical documents.
