**** Provides an introduction to electronic commerce ��� the business trend of the future. Explore the fundamentals of the e-commerce business structure and the impact social media and marketing have on the business today. Emphasis will be placed on what to expect when creating a dot com as well as the business-to-business used of eCommerce in a global economy. Students will gain a heightened awareness of emerging technologies and trends in e-business. Fundamentals of global business will be discussed in an effort to understand how the environment, cultures, and political systems impact the global trade arena. Learners will examine competencies related to e-commerce, technology, security issues, electronic payments, and marketing strategies in a global marketplace. Learners will also explore the fundamentals of global business in an effort to understand how the environment, cultures, and political systems impact the global eCommerce structure.
