Each IGEN Consortium college has established an Industry Advisory Group as part of their Career and Technical Education program. Advisory Group members contribute to the design, development and delivery of CTE courses including those developed through this TAACCCT grant. The members also provide opportunities for work-based learning and job placements for program graduates.

Abstract
This course is intended for persons pursuing technical careers, It includes communication principles and practical applications to on-the-job situations. Written instruction includes preparation of employment materials, business documents, complaint and adjustment letters, and student selected professional topics. Oral topics cover interpersonal communications, presentations, business reports, and student selected activities.
