Abstract

Introduction to the architecture, structure, and models of the Internet and other computer networks. Principles and structure of Internet Protocol (IP) addressing and fundamentals of Ethernet concepts and operations are explored. Application of basic principles of cabling and configuration of network devices such as routers and switches. The syllabus is included in the course and contains the course objectives, student learning outcomes, list of assignments and names of the course textbooks.
