Abstract
Designed to prepare medical coding students to take a certifying exam to become a professional physician based coder as offered by AAPC. Includes outpatient coding cases and review of medical terminology, anatomy, pathophysiology, reimbursement issues, CPT and HCPCS coding, ICD-10-CM coding, and simulated medical coding internship.
