Abstract
This course is a study of supervising principles and techniques required to effectively manage human resources in an organization.
Topics include: Supervision, Then and Now, Standards, Meeting Skills and Tools, Doing What is Right, Working with a Diverse Workforce, Goals, Responsibility and Organizational Development, Supervisors, Leading the Way, Using Creativity to Solve Problems and Make Decisions, How People Communicate, Be a Motivator, Handling Problem Employees, Stress and Time Management, Change and Conflict Management, The Right Employee, Employee Orientation, and Evaluating Employees.
Materials include interactive lessons, quizzes, a glossary, discussion questions, and a final exam. The lessons, quizzes, and final exam are in zipped files that can be imported to an LMS as SCORM Content or opened (If viewing without uploading to an LMS- unzip the file, and click story_html5.html).
