Abstract

After completion of this course, students should be able to: Describe the supply chain life cycle, Identify the various types of material handling equipment. Describe the world class practices of shipping, receiving, order processing and stocking. Define and describe a Warehouse Management Systems and its applications and discuss inventory management principles and terminology. Describe and differentiate between the various modes of transportation and have a solid understanding inter modal operations.
