It introduces students to a troubleshooting methodology that can be used on any sequencing machine, and could be used by a maintenance worker to solve 80% of the problems faced on plant floors that use sequencing machines. This methodology relates to the automotive industry and similar industries. The IMST Level I materials were developed by specialized subject matter expert, Glenn Wisniewski, who understands the full impact and methodology of working with and teaching integrated manufacturing systems courses.Item M-SAMC SME Report(Henry Ford College, 2016-09-30) Workforce Performance ImprovementThis report summarizes a comprehensive review of M-SAMC Grant Products and Deliverables by a team of Industry and Manufacturing Education experts.Item CBCC: Tech 101(Henry Ford College, 2015) Multi-State Advanced Manufacturing ConsortiumCompetency-Based Curricula & Credentials. The Tech 101 curriculum provides foundation skills to help students build self awareness, including developing an understanding of their learning styles, critical thinking processes, and test taking approaches. As students develop self awareness, they’re able to understand how to best go about professional development in a manufacturing culture. The Tech 101 materials were developed by specialized subject matter experts, and are broken into three sections: 101-A Self Awareness, 101-B Manufacturing Culture, and 101-C Test Taking.Item Multi-State Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (M-SAMC) Final Evaluation Report(Henry Ford College, 2016-09) Corporation for a Skilled Worforce; The New Growth GroupCorporation for a Skilled Workforce (CSW) and New Growth Planners present this final evaluation report covering the evaluation work completed over the life of the Multi-State Advanced Manufacturing Consortium grant. The format largely follows the recommended elements of the Executive Summary provided by the Department of Labor in its August 2016 guidance. Each section, in addition to discussing the consortium’s efforts as a whole, gives specific examples of how individual colleges were successful in implementing a specific deliverable. These examples do not necessarily represent implementation at all colleges. CSW and New Growth comprise the evaluation team for the Multi-State Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (M-SAMC). CSW was responsible for the implementation evaluation, and New Growth Planners oversaw the outcomes and impact evaluation. Throughout, CSW and New Growth have collaborated closely with each other, with the consortium staff, and with the thirteen member colleges to assess progress against the grant expectations, as drawn from the funded project proposal and design, and to document examples of how the activities of individual colleges (or groups of colleges not constituting the total population) have advanced competency-based education.
